Aroma of friendship…

Can’t believe sixteen years have passed,
when on one of those auspicious days,
I stepped into that heavenly place.
and ever since time rolled on so fast.

Those days back at school,
each being a new day under the sun,
so full of frolic and fun,
despite the heavy schedule.

There was joy, there were tears,
loads of love and hugs and kisses,
helping hands in times of crisis,
many a silly/serious fights,ending up as worst fears.

At the end of the day,
all the cold war and icy silence had to end,
because we always felt “I can’t be annoyed with my friend “,
and a smile works the way, which words can never say.

I wish that day had never come,
when we had to scatter and depart.
I kept all of you so intact in my heart,
with love for all , and hatred for none.
